Of Many
Many miles across the ocean
many years to understand
many thoughts beyond the horizon
many mornings in your hands
you can fly above perception
you can dive inside the day
in the end there's nothing like it
than a lonely crazy play
many miles, many roads, many days
you can keep in your life is just the same
the mistakes that you made and you already paid
many miles before the end line
of many ways
Many years of getting somewhere
Where they'll lead you in the end
many lovers getting nowhere
Wish you had someone to tell
You can be inside a dream-state
you can try to be bland
you can feel the water daughter
by the sound that's made of sand
many miles, many roads, many days
you can keep in your life is just the same
the mistakes that you made and you already paid
many miles before the end line
of many ways

Silence broken

Silence Broken
Silence broken love unspoken
fight the world to let you in
missed the start but it's not over
something else will fill you in
Hopeless writings maybe something
foolish words I don't know how
how they got here out of nothing
it was easy up to now
Nothing else could bring you closer
and nothing else could keep you further
from your little touch and all your little wit
and if you left alone tomorrow
you know I could relate that sorrow
that’s why I'm serenading to your own true self
Silence broken love unspoken
fight the world to let you out
hide your sorrow, embrace tomorrow
and if I'm there I'll show you how
I'm trying to be sane
and give your self a name
you know it's just a game fixing love
and if I've gone too far
please try to understand
another way to say
Silence broken love unspoken
only thought it would be fair
hide your sorrow, embrace tomorrow
and I believe I'll see you there
Nothing else could bring you closer
and nothing else could keep you further
from your little touch and all your little wit
and I could hold your hand tomorrow
or I could be left in sorrow
you know I'm maybe broken but I'm not dead yet
Silence broken love unspoken
nothing else for all I care
kill your sorrow until tomorrow
I believe I'll see you there

Sweet Departure
When I think sweet departure
there's a feeling I get
rolling into my senses
sweet departure is there
When the beauty of our love
died so long ago
got a ticket to nowhere
baby I'm so glad to go
And the beauty of our dream
will remain in my heart
like an old faded notebook
I can read time to time
Cause I'm tired and I'm helpless
lost my joyful life
sweet departure is calling
gets me into next flight
Take a look weary stranger
close behind you the door
sweet departure is calling
all the waves from the shore
When I think sweet departure
there's a feeling I get
rolling into my senses
sweet departure is there

Phantom

Phantom
You can cry on my shoulder now
if that makes you feeling better
you are always wearing out yourself
when you try to write that letter
And as you lie awake every night
secret memories reveal it
phantom hanging silent around your door
It's getting harder to conceal it
Nothing else can bring you down
if you try it anyhow
thought you died so long ago
it was something else you know
Nothing else can bring you home again
nothing else can make it even
all this time you tried to stop the rain
all this time was not forgiven
Sharing all the thoughts you understand
creeping naked meaning is true
maybe shine a light you always had
or maybe it will die within you
Nothing else can bring you down
if you try it anyhow
thought you died so long ago
it was something else you know

Misfit yonder

Misfit yonder
I hear the rolling thunder
and I feel ten feet under
thought I could raise the dead,
but now I'm on my knees again
oh what a misfit yonder
And when the lights are falling
I hear the bells are calling
thought I could be the one,
but now the others having fun
oh when your heart is howling
Saw a pale and tall man,
he was dressed in black and was coming my way
I said "I'm sorry sir
ain't got no money to buy anything today
he said "I'm no salesman boy,
you must follow me down to where I came,
and that is not an option,
oh by the way I hope you guessed my name"
I hear the rolling thunder
and I feel ten feet under
thought I could be the one,
but now the others having fun
oh what a misfit yonder
And when the lights are falling
I hear the bells are calling
thought I could raise the dead,
but now I'm on my knees again
oh when your heart is howling
We passed the darkest pit,
we passed the marble gate
down to the center of the earth,
where none alive has ever been
"hey sir, is it far where we're going,
is another mile or maybe two"
"Don't worry almost there son,
down here we got a hell of a barbeque"

I need you

I need you
Yes I need you everyday
yes I need you to show me the way
every moment is right
when you're here by my side
yes I need you all the time
Cause I've been down for so long
yes I need you to smile and come along
put some life in my day
fix my thought and find a way
yes I need you, don't delay
If it's better to let go
then it's easier I know
just to turn around and look the other way
but there's one thing true
that I know I want you
just to feel you day by day
Yes I need you all the time
yes I need you to know that you're mine
put some life in my day
fix my thought and find a way
yes I need you everyday
yes I need you, don't delay

The one

The one
Now my mother always paints flowers
and she talks good to us about the past
and my father saw on tv
that the crisis ain't gonna last
Say they will, love me still
but I say want you to be the one
And I say want you to be the one who cares
and I say want you to be the one
and I can love you so if you won't let me go
and I say want you to be the one
When my mother looks me in the eyes
she knows I'm thinking about my worried life
when my sister comes back home from work
she's got news that everything's alright
Say they will, believe me still
and I say want you to be the one
And I say want you to be the one who cares
and I say want you to be the one
and I can love you so if you won't let me go
and I say want you to be the one

Maybe you'll see someday

Maybe you'll see someday
May you stay under the moonlight
and with the strength you saved to make a brighter day
for the lights are blinding your sight
hoping to leave you there, get you into despair
But if you find a way, maybe you'll see someday
maybe you'll rise upon and fight for your soul
and if you feel dismay, when all the roads are stray
try to find your touch, don't let them tell you such
or may just stay under the moonlight
May you stay under the moonlight
cause you will live to tell, if you don't play your head
for the tide is rising so high
you only have to swim before you even dream
But if you find a way, maybe you'll see someday
maybe you'll rise upon and fight for your soul
and if you feel dismay, when all the roads are stray
try to find your touch, don't let them tell you such
or may just stay under the moonlight

Willie trouble

Willie Trouble
Willie was a young hard working man and he owned a loan
him and his wife worked all day trying to pay off their home
one day the cops came around knocking on his door
they said “you got four days to leave,
the bank is taking your home”
I always made it since I grew up in this town
everybody knows me here but nobody made a sound
The night was filled with colours after the rain
he went down to find his friends and ease the pain
got himself a bottle of whiskey and then another round
“I know” he said “what I’m gonna do”, “I’m gonna burn it down”
And I’m gonna make it get the hell out of this town
and I’m gonna make it but nobody made a sound
Willie watched his home go down in flames
and he didn’t shed a tear
he knew they soon are gonna go after him but he felt no fear
cause his name was Willie trouble and don’t mess with him
cause his name was Willie ramble so get out of his way
And we’re gonna make it drive us down south
And we’re gonna make it but nobody made a sound

Broken
Well hope has packed her things and left the station
jumped in a train and got the hell out of here
gone with a wailing song for a generation
that never learned to fight and always lived in fear
I don't need to care for this
and I won't wait for a fatal kiss
Cause I'm broken when I pay the price, in the mailbox
and I'm broken when I know that she's, with someone else
cause I'm broken when they kick me down, with no explanation
when I have another day to live, before the end
The education's wrong there is another side
to show us the way now that the lights are out
into the void I roam, into the void I ride
to see the edge of light to get me where I'm bound
I don't need to care for this
and I won't wait for a fatal kiss
Cause I'm broken when I pay the price, in the mailbox
and I'm broken when I know that she's, with someone else
cause I'm broken when they kick me down, with no explanation
when I have another day to live, before the end
